Network controller no internet kalenday jun 19, 2014, 9:29 pm i just recently ran the recovery disk on my asus g75vw laptop and after the recovery was complete i am unable to access the internet.. Re: no ethernet controller driver, win xp on optiplex gx270 i did buy the new network card, which installed fine but the lack of ethernet controller still kept the system from connecting. at that point i had made a couple of trips to the store and spent way too many hours on it, with no clear idea on what else could be wrong.. Users have reported that their realtek pcie family controller (ethernet) randomly stops working after they upgraded to windows 10. there is still no answers from microsoft or realtek as to why would this happen, and this situation happens so randomly on different occasions, so there are a lot of solutions that could be of help..
